It can't find old settings file in that case, another one gets created in this folder, and the game starts in windowed mode with default settings, change them as needed. I have no idea why it was made, and removing those extras don't break anything as far as i see, i can still login into Steam WoWs account as usual.īut steam_api.dll file in 327674(for current 0.7.2.2 version) breaks replays because passing of command line argument gets intercepted by Steam which causes it to show that kind of window: Īfter clicking OK, Steam transfers command line arguments to clientrunner.exe INSTEAD of worldofwarships.exe and it seems clientrunner is not ready for that and does not transfer them further, instead shutting down.
I've found the culprit: in some update steam_api.dll was also added to bin\clientrunner and both folders containing worldofwarships.exe, so a total of 4 copies, including one in root folder.
